Teenager Seriously Injured After Being Hit by Car in Bnei Brak
A serious traffic accident occurred on Sunday afternoon on Rabbi Israel Abuhatzeira Street in Bnei Brak, where a young pedestrian was struck by a passing vehicle. The teenager was quickly attended to by emergency teams and transported to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva with severe injuries.
At approximately 15:03, Magen David Adom (MDA) received a report of the accident. Emergency responders from MDA and volunteers from the Hatzalah organization arrived promptly, providing life-saving initial treatment including bandaging and immobilization. The injured boy was then evacuated by MDA's intensive care ambulance to the hospital's trauma unit.
Israel Horvitz, an emergency medical technician with MDA, described the scene: "When we arrived, the boy was conscious but suffering from severe multi-system trauma after being hit by a car. We provided life-saving medical care and transported him in serious but stable condition." Israel Meir Mamo, a Hatzalah motorcycle paramedic, added that the combined team stabilized the patient before his transfer for advanced treatment at Beilinson Hospital.
