Hapoel Tel Aviv goalkeeper Sean Ben Nesar, who joined the club in June as the third-choice keeper, will leave the team before the season starts and return to Maccabi Herzliya. The 20-year-old goalkeeper decided to move back to Herzliya seeking a role as the second-choice goalkeeper with more playing opportunities, as his chances of game time at Hapoel Tel Aviv were minimal. Ben Nesar developed in Maccabi Haifa's youth system, played for Hapoel Acre, and spent the last two seasons at Herzliya.

Meanwhile, Hapoel Tel Aviv is preparing for their UEFA Europa Conference League second-leg match against Ludogorets. After a 2-0 win in the first leg in Hungary, the team will host the return match with strong fan support. Approximately 5,000 Israeli fans attended the away game in Hungary, and for the home leg, 1,400 tickets allocated to Israeli supporters were quickly sold out, ensuring a full away section.
