After signing Doron Leidner, Hapoel Tel Aviv announced two more additions on Tuesday evening, goalkeeper Sean Ben Nesher and midfielder Itay Shavit, who will join the squad. Ben Nesher, 20, signed for one season and will fill part of the team’s goalkeeping roster after Sagi Pinhas left for Maccabi Bnei Reineh. He came up through Hapoel Acre and spent the past two years with Maccabi Herzliya.
Shavit, 19, was purchased from Hapoel Kfar Saba, where he developed as a youth player. In the past season he made 41 appearances in all competitions for the club. He signed a five-year contract with the Red club.
The announcements came as Hapoel Tel Aviv continued to bolster its squad ahead of the upcoming league campaign.
