The 20-year-old decided to move back to Herzliya seeking a role as the second-choice goalkeeper with more playing opportunities, as his chances to play at Hapoel Tel Aviv were minimal. Ben Nesher developed in Maccabi Haifa's youth system, played for Hapoel Akko, and spent the last two seasons at Herzliya.
