The incident occurred shortly after two Israeli youths were arrested by Greek police for sheltering victims during the attack. Seventeen-year-old Roy, who was on vacation with friends, recounted how the violence began after they sang in Hebrew outside a popular club, leading to verbal abuse and pursuit by a group mostly of Muslim origin.
