Woman in Her 70s Drowns at Shdot Yam Beach Near Kibbutz
A tragic incident occurred on Monday morning at a beach near Kibbutz Shdot Yam, where a woman approximately 76 years old drowned. She was pulled from the water unconscious and without a pulse. Paramedics and emergency medical technicians from Magen David Adom (MDA) arrived promptly and performed resuscitation efforts, including chest compressions, artificial respiration, and medication administration. Despite their efforts, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Shila Halevi, an emergency medical technician from MDA's motorcycle unit, described finding the woman unresponsive and without breathing or pulse upon arrival.
