Shin Bet Informs Gaza Residents of Killing Hamas Security Chief Wael al-Ladawi
Following the targeted killing of Wael al-Ladawi, Hamas's internal security chief in central Gaza, the Israeli Shin Bet sent text messages to residents of Nazirat and al-Zawaida. The message stated that an important account had been settled with al-Ladawi, also known as Abu Hamza, who was responsible for internal security in the central Gaza area. It accused him of harming many civilians who opposed Hamas's hypocrisy and corruption. The message concluded with a pledge to continue pursuing anyone who harms the population, signed by "Captain Abu Musa - Responsible for Nazirat and al-Zawaida, Israeli Shin Bet."
