IDF and Shin Bet Eliminate Hamas Internal Security Chief in Central Gaza Camps

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet conducted a targeted operation yesterday in the Deir al-Balah area, killing Wael Mousa Khaled Laddawi, the head of Hamas's Internal Security in the central Gaza refugee camps. This internal security apparatus is a secretive and key component of Hamas's organizational structure. Under Laddawi's command, the unit gathered intelligence on senior Hamas leaders, aiding in decision-making and facilitating the planning and execution of terrorist attacks against Israel. IDF Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area in accordance with existing agreements and will continue efforts to neutralize threats.
