Australian Actor Nate Buzzulic Exits Israeli Dancing Show, Expresses Deep Bond with Partner Julia Shahar

Australian actor Nate Buzzulic, a prominent supporter of Israel since October 7, recently participated in the Israeli version of "Dancing with the Stars" alongside professional dancer Julia Shahar. Their journey ended just before the live broadcast stage, marking a poignant moment for both. In an interview with "Morning News," they reflected on their collaboration and the emotional experience of the competition.

Buzzulic emphasized that while he will not miss the dancing itself, he deeply values the friendship he formed with Shahar. He stated, "The real gift from this experience was the friendship I have with Julia. Long after the show airs and is forgotten, we will remain close friends. I will continue to message her, seek advice, and meet her and her husband Yogev when I am in Israel. I love them as a couple and feel lucky to have this friendship."

Regarding their unexpected elimination, Buzzulic acknowledged the hard work over four months and praised the Israeli dancers' skill, accepting the judges' decision with grace. Shahar, in her fifth season, expressed no disappointment, highlighting Buzzulic's impressive progress despite his lack of prior dance experience and his age of nearly 43. She described their journey as a victory and cherished the joy and camaraderie they shared.

A significant moment in their final performance was dancing with Gilboa prisoner survivor Daniela Gilboa, which both described as powerful and meaningful. Buzzulic noted the importance of giving Daniela a platform to showcase her strength and resilience, while Shahar called the choice of Daniela for that episode "perfect," connecting deeply with the emotional weight of the performance.

Looking ahead, Shahar expressed excitement about supporting her husband Yogev Malka, who will appear as a commentator on the show "Ninja," and plans to attend the recordings with Buzzulic. Both look forward to continuing their friendship beyond the dance floor.
