24-Year-Old Woman Found Drowning in Bathtub in Bnei Brak, Hospitalized in Serious Condition
Medical teams from United Hatzalah responded to a drowning incident involving a 24-year-old woman in her home in Bnei Brak. The woman, identified as Michal bat Sarah Ita, was found unconscious in her bathtub after reportedly spending several minutes submerged. Paramedic Yehuda Mor and medics Binyamin Fishel, Eliyahu Lintop, and Avi Wilman provided respiratory assistance at the scene before she was evacuated to the hospital in serious condition.
Rescuers Elhanan Rosenstein and Dudi Gross reported that upon arrival, the woman was semi-conscious, likely due to a medical event that led to the drowning. Alongside other medics and Magen David Adom personnel, they administered initial treatment including respiratory support. She was transported to the shock room at Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer for further care.
The public has been urged to pray for her recovery, with a call emphasizing the power of collective prayer. The incident remains under medical evaluation as she receives intensive treatment.
