Man in Beit Shean Bitten by Venomous Viper in Bed, Faces Life-Threatening Emergency
Adam Kot from Beit Shean woke up in the middle of the night after being bitten by a venomous viper while sleeping. He described the sudden sharp pain that woke him and the sight of two puncture marks on his hand, which immediately made him realize he was in grave danger. Kot believes the snake entered his home through an open door or window, turning a terrifying experience into a life-threatening emergency. He recalled the overwhelming fear and confusion as he understood the severity of the venom, thinking, "I have poison, I could die in seconds, I could die in a minute, I don't know what kind of poison entered my hand." Recognizing the urgency, Kot rushed to Emek Medical Center, where he was hospitalized and received medical treatment.
