Hapoel Eilat Signs Guard Daniel Rozenbaum Ahead of Premier League Return

Hapoel Eilat continues to strengthen its roster as it prepares to return to Israel's top basketball league in the 2026/27 season after a three-year absence. The club announced the signing of 29-year-old guard Daniel Rozenbaum, who joins the team under coach Oren Aharoni. Rozenbaum brings five seasons of experience in Israeli basketball, including the past two years with Hapoel Haifa, where he averaged 9.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game. Prior to Haifa, he played for Hapoel Jerusalem, Elitzur Ashdod, Maccabi Ramat Gan, and Hapoel Gilboa Galil.

Coach Oren Aharoni expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating, "We are happy to have Daniel join our developing team. He is a quality player with an excellent personality who fits the identity we want to build this year." This signing marks another step in Hapoel Eilat's efforts to assemble a competitive squad for their comeback to the Israeli Basketball Premier League.
