Israeli lawmaker Moshe Saada from the Likud party stated on Thursday that an attack on Iran could occur soon, possibly by the weekend, based on current assessments. However, his comments sparked anger within Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office, with senior officials dismissing Saada's remarks as uninformed speculation. They emphasized that Saada was not involved in any security consultations and was merely repeating media reports.

Saada later clarified on social media that he was referring to a potential strike by former US President Donald Trump and the United States, not Israel directly.
