Israeli Police Arrest 11 Illegal Residents on Roof in South Tel Aviv

Israeli police arrested 11 individuals suspected of residing illegally in Israel on the roof of a building on HaGdud HaIvri Street in south Tel Aviv. The detainees, aged between 23 and 50, are reportedly residents of the West Bank. The arrest was carried out by officers from the Sar-T police station in the Ayalon district, in cooperation with Border Police counterterrorism fighters. The police responded to a report received at emergency number 100 about suspicious persons seen on the building's roof. All suspects were located during searches and subsequently transferred to the Sar-T station for questioning. The police stated that, based on the investigation findings, they intend to request an extension of the detainees' custody in court.
