Ten Illegal Palestinian Immigrants Arrested in Tel Aviv Apartment
Police arrested ten Palestinian residents from the West Bank who were staying in Israel illegally in an apartment building in Tel Aviv on Saturday. The arrests followed a report to the police hotline about suspicious individuals at the location.
Border Police officers from the Central District and the Counter-Terrorism Unit responded to the tip and arrived at the apartment. Upon entering, officers found two suspects, who were identified as being in Israel without legal permits. A subsequent search of the apartment uncovered an additional eight illegal immigrants.
All ten individuals, who are residents of the Palestinian Authority and lacked permits to stay in Israel, were apprehended and transferred to the Sharet police station in Tel Aviv for further investigation.
