Israeli Reality Star Yakir Levi Dies After Falling From 28th Floor in Miami

Yakir Levi, a 45-year-old Israeli reality TV star, died after falling from the 28th floor of the Acqualina Resort and Residences in Miami, Florida. Emergency communication recordings released on July 23 reveal that rescue teams were initially alerted to a "suicide attempt" at the luxury resort on Monday evening around 9:30 p.m. The recordings capture dispatchers reporting a person who jumped from a balcony on the 20th floor and later confirming Levi was found unresponsive, with his death declared at the scene.

Authorities from Sunny Isles Beach and Miami-Dade County responded to the incident. Preliminary investigations indicate Levi was alone at the time of the fall, and no criminal suspicion has been raised so far. The Miami-Dade medical examiner's office is collaborating with local authorities to determine the exact cause and circumstances of his death.

Levi gained fame through the documentary reality show "The Americans," which followed five former Israelis living in Los Angeles pursuing the American dream. Born in Ramla, Israel, Levi moved to the U.S. with just $300 and built a successful property restoration business, becoming a millionaire. He is survived by his wife and three children. His body was flown back to Israel, where his funeral is scheduled to take place today in Rishon LeZion.
