Israeli Police Foil Attempted Assassination in Lod, Arrest Four Suspects

During a coordinated operation by Border Police and Lod station officers, gunfire was heard, prompting officers to engage and quickly detain a suspect armed with a pistol containing a live round. Further searches in the area led to the arrest of three additional suspects who were taken in for questioning at the Lod police station. Authorities also discovered a suspicious vehicle containing live ammunition and a license plate with a black sticker, suggesting an attempt to conceal the vehicle's identity.
