Jerusalem's Mea Shearim Community Mourns Temple Destruction on Tisha B'Av
On the evening of Tisha B'Av, the Mea Shearim neighborhood in Jerusalem was enveloped in mourning as synagogues filled with elders and youth who sat on the ground, lamenting the destruction of the Holy Temple by reading the Book of Lamentations by candlelight.
