Israeli Activist Yossef Hadad Visits Shomron Settlement After Devastating Arson Fire

Yossef Hadad, an Israeli public relations activist, visited the Shomron settlement of Havat Gilad to support residents after a massive fire caused extensive damage. The fire, which broke out last Saturday amid extreme weather and strong winds, destroyed dozens of homes and 13 local businesses, leaving 84 children homeless and causing millions of shekels in damages.

During his visit, Hadad toured the ruins and addressed footage showing two Palestinian Authority policemen allegedly throwing a cigarette butt that ignited the blaze. He accused them of deliberate arson, stating, "Who burns their own land? Whoever burns the land proves it is not theirs." Hadad emphasized the national contribution of Havat Gilad's roughly 100 families, who have collectively served over 23,000 reserve duty days since the outbreak of war on October 7. Many of these reservists are now left without homes or livelihoods.

Concluding his visit, Hadad delivered a firm message to Israel's enemies: "What you burn, we will rebuild stronger, bigger, and more impressive, two, three, four times over."
