Israeli Border Police Arrest Two Suspects Planning Immediate Attack in Jerusalem

In a coordinated operation led by the Israeli Border Police's Jerusalem unit and fighters from the Jerusalem periphery, two suspects were arrested on suspicion of planning an imminent attack in Jerusalem. The operation was conducted under the guidance of the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and led by the regional command, with assistance from the Israeli Police Air Unit. The Border Police forces entered the Shuafat refugee camp area covertly before switching to an overt operation. They simultaneously raided two buildings, located the suspects in their homes, and detained them without any unusual incidents. Both detainees, residents of Shuafat, were transferred to the Shin Bet for further interrogation.
