Israeli Border Police Arrest Suspected Terrorist in East Jerusalem Before Attack

Israeli Border Police special forces in Jerusalem, guided by the Shin Bet and in cooperation with Border Police fighters from Jerusalem and its surrounding areas, as well as Jerusalem district police officers, arrested a suspect from the Shuafat refugee camp. The suspect was believed to be involved in advancing terrorist activities and planning to carry out an attack in central Jerusalem. The forces raided the suspect's home, forcibly entered the building, located him, and arrested him. Following the arrest, they conducted a search of the residence. The suspect was then transferred for further investigation by the Shin Bet. The police emphasized that the operation was conducted under Shin Bet guidance as part of the ongoing fight against terrorism. Released footage shows the Border Police special forces surprising the suspect in his bed while his family members were asleep.
