Israeli Border Police shot and arrested a Palestinian attacker who attempted to infiltrate Jerusalem from Bethlehem through the Rachel Crossing overnight. According to police, the suspect initially threw stones at security forces before drawing a knife and brandishing it at the officers. When the attacker continued to pose a threat, the Border Police fired at his lower body, neutralizing and detaining him for further investigation. No injuries were reported among the security personnel involved in the incident.
