IDF Kills Armed Islamic Jihad Militants Transferring Weapons in Gaza
Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) forces operating in southern Gaza identified several armed militants from the Islamic Jihad group on Monday. The militants were transferring weapons into a vehicle, which the IDF stated were intended to be used against Israeli forces in the area. Shortly after spotting the militants, the IDF conducted an airstrike targeting those inside and near the vehicle to neutralize the threat. The Southern Command of the IDF confirmed that its troops remain deployed in the area under existing agreements and will continue to act to eliminate any immediate threats. The IDF released footage showing the moments of weapon transfer and the subsequent strike.
