IDF Kills Hamas Terrorist Involved in Kidnapping of Amiram Cooper and Wife
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the killing of Asma Kamal Shadah Abu Tim, a Hamas military wing commander, in southern Gaza. According to the IDF spokesperson, Abu Tim participated in the abduction of Amiram Cooper, his late wife Nurit Cooper, and Alexander Danzig from Nir Oz kibbutz during the Hamas attack on October 7. The spokesperson detailed that Abu Tim infiltrated the kibbutz during the assault and was directly involved in the kidnappings. Furthermore, the IDF stated that throughout the ongoing conflict and in recent times, Abu Tim was actively involved in planning terrorist operations against Israeli military forces and civilians. The Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area under existing agreements, with the IDF affirming its commitment to neutralize any immediate threats to Israel.
