Ido Glicko, a 28-year-old fitness coach from Kiryat Tivon who works with children on emotional empowerment, proposed to his girlfriend Emily Maman, a 26-year-old social worker, in a highly creative and viral marriage proposal. The event took place at Mount Oron lookout near the Sea of Galilee and has amassed almost 3 million views across social media platforms within just two days.

Glicko collaborated with Raviv Boaz, a well-known Instagram marriage proposal photographer, to stage a role-play scenario where they pretended not to know each other and met by chance. Boaz recounted that the cover story involved him being a passerby with car trouble, asking for help with the engine cover. Glicko explained that he wanted something truly unique and came up with the idea during a personal training session. Boaz added that he used special glasses that recorded everything without Emily noticing.

Emily expressed surprise at the elaborate setup and only realized the proposal was genuine when she saw Ido with the ring. Boaz noted that while he has filmed many proposals, none have reached this level of viral success, with over 1.5 million views on Instagram, half a million on TikTok, and 400,000 on Facebook, totaling approximately 2.45 million views across platforms at the time of reporting.

Ido shared that the warm and heartfelt responses from viewers have been very touching, with many people sharing their own emotional reactions. Boaz, also a reserve soldier, said the project was a form of healing for him and was moved by the public’s enthusiastic response, including messages from people who want to contact him for their own proposals.
