Pro-Israel Activist Unexpectedly Films Surprise Marriage Proposal in Southern Israel
Noa Lee Shein Tov was stunned to discover that the person filming her marriage proposal was pro-Israel advocacy activist Nate Buzzulik. The couple, who have been together for five years, were on a weekend getaway in southern Israel when the surprise proposal took place. Shein Tov shared a video of the moment on TikTok, which quickly garnered tens of thousands of views and sparked curiosity about how Buzzulik ended up there.
In an exclusive interview with C14, Shein Tov explained that the filming was entirely coincidental. Her partner had asked Buzzulik, who was staying about 1.5 kilometers away in a couples’ compound, to help film the proposal after failing to find a photographer. Buzzulik eagerly agreed, fetched his equipment, and helped arrange the scene. Shein Tov recalled her surprise during the proposal, saying, "I said to him, 'Oh my God, I know you!'"
After the proposal, the couples shared a meal together and discussed their shared connection to Ashkelon, their hometown. Buzzulik also posted the video on his personal Instagram account and congratulated Shein Tov, offering to edit the footage. Shein Tov praised his work, calling him "better than any photographer." The unexpected collaboration between the couple and the pro-Israel activist added a unique and heartfelt dimension to the memorable occasion.
