Seven Northern Israel Streams Warned Unsafe for Swimming Due to Water Contamination
The Israeli Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Environmental Protection reported abnormal water sampling results indicating potential pollution in several streams in northern Israel. As a result, entering the following streams may pose health risks: Hatzbani at the confluence promenade (where it flows into the Jordan River), Jordan River from Joseph Bridge to Arik Bridge, Hexagon Pool, Gilabon, Zaki, Tzalmon at the Haruv Pool, and Ein Hardalit. The Ministry of Environmental Protection noted that no specific pollution source has yet been identified in these streams.
