Israeli 'Law & Order' Star Odelya Halevi Expecting First Child in December

Israeli actress Odelya Halevi, known for her role as Assistant District Attorney Samantha Maroun on the American TV series "Law & Order," is expecting her first child, a daughter, due in December. Halevi, 37, shared the news on Instagram with maternity photos taken in New York City, some featuring her husband Aaron Mazur, 42, a Jewish-American real estate professional. The couple married last year in a lavish ceremony at Ronit Farm in Israel after three years together.

Halevi has lived in the United States for nearly two decades due to her acting career. In a past interview, she emphasized the importance of her partner having a connection to Israel, noting Mazur's strong Jewish ties and observance of Yom Kippur fasting, despite her own different practice. Although she expressed interest in acting in Israel, she mentioned being told she is "not well known enough" there.

The announcement was also featured in the American magazine PEOPLE, where Halevi captioned her post "New rhythm." The couple appears joyful as they stroll through New York, anticipating parenthood in the coming months.
