AEK Athens Pursues Hapoel Be'er Sheva Midfielder Kings Kangwa with Over €2 Million Offer

Greek club AEK Athens is actively seeking to sign Kings Kangwa, the Zambian midfielder from Hapoel Be'er Sheva. The Greek side is prepared to offer slightly more than two million euros for the player. However, Hapoel Be'er Sheva insists on a minimum transfer fee of three million euros and is not willing to accept less. Despite this gap, AEK Athens is expected to submit a higher official bid in an effort to secure Kangwa's transfer.

Kangwa is scheduled to play for Hapoel Be'er Sheva on Tuesday against Icelandic club Vikingur, as the Israeli club aims to advance in European competition. If Be'er Sheva progresses past Vikingur, they will at least qualify for the group stage of the UEFA Conference League this season. The club hopes Kangwa will contribute to this goal, even if he is eventually sold.

Hapoel Be'er Sheva acknowledges the difficulty in retaining Kangwa this season but remains firm on the transfer price. Meanwhile, the club is actively scouting potential replacements should the midfielder be transferred. No official comments have been released yet regarding the negotiations.
