Hapoel Be'er Sheva Demands Higher Fee for Kings Kangwa Amid Levski Sofia Offer
Hapoel Be'er Sheva continues its training camp in Poland as it prepares for the upcoming Champions League qualifiers. The club recently welcomed new signing João Victor, who will not play in today's match against Omonia Nicosia. Meanwhile, Zambian star Kings Kangwa, who has been training with the team since Thursday, remains a key figure in the squad's plans.
Levski Sofia has submitted an offer exceeding $2 million for Kangwa, but Be'er Sheva considers this insufficient. Owner Alona Barkat is reportedly aiming for a transfer fee of at least 3 million euros. Due to this, the club is currently relying on Kangwa for the Champions League qualifying rounds, where they will face the winner between Győr and Víkingur.
In addition to managing Kangwa's potential transfer, Hapoel Be'er Sheva is actively seeking to strengthen its squad by recruiting a foreign left-back and center-back ahead of the 2026/2027 season under coach Ran Kozuch.
