Man Arrested for Burglary at 'Queen of Jerusalem' TV Set Stealing Equipment Worth Tens of Thousands

A 35-year-old resident of Bat Yam has been indicted for breaking into the filming set of the TV series "Queen of Jerusalem" in central Tel Aviv and stealing production equipment valued at approximately 30,000 shekels. The incident occurred on July 14 at an apartment on Shadal Street, which was being used as the series' shooting location at the time.

The stolen items included a laptop, external hard drives, memory cards, tefillin, and other equipment used by the production team and actors. Shortly after the burglary, Tel Aviv police officers located the suspect carrying a bag containing the stolen property. He was arrested and interrogated, and all the equipment was returned to representatives of the production company who were called to the police station.

Investigations revealed that the suspect was under house arrest at the time of the offense. The indictment charges him with unlawful entry into a residence to commit a crime, theft, and violation of a legal order. The police have requested that he remain in custody until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
