Police arrested four suspects in a string of burglary cases in Tel Aviv, including a man from Yavne in his 40s who was allegedly caught in the act inside an office on Hashmonaim Street 121 while filling a suitcase with valuable equipment he intended to steal. The arrest took place overnight on June 21, 2026, according to the report.
In a separate morning incident, a 37-year-old resident of Kiryat Ekron was arrested after allegedly breaking into the restaurant Gila and Nancy on 8 Levontin Street and stealing expensive bottles of alcohol. Police said they moved quickly and detained him near the scene with evidence that they believe links him to the crime. The restaurant owner said the suspect entered through the restaurant door.
Two other suspects were arrested in related break-ins in the city. On June 20, 2026, police detained a Bat Yam resident in his 30s after he allegedly broke into a scooter parked on Lilienblum Street. On June 19, 2026, a foreign national in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of breaking into a car parked on HaChashmal Street.
All four suspects were taken to the police station for questioning and later jailed. They are expected to be brought before court depending on investigative needs.
