Israeli Health Ministry Shuts Down Bnei Brak Phototherapy Clinic Over Serious Safety Violations

The Israeli Ministry of Health has ordered the immediate closure of the "Healthy Skin" phototherapy clinic located at 108 Rabbi Akiva Street in Bnei Brak following a surprise inspection that uncovered severe safety violations. The inspection revealed critical deficiencies including a significant shortage of medical staff, improper work procedures, and inadequate cleaning and sterilization of medical equipment. These issues were deemed to pose an immediate danger to patient safety.

As a result, the Ministry issued a closure order mandating the cessation of all medical activities at the clinic until all violations are fully rectified and explicit approval is granted by the Ministry. The Ministry emphasized that the closure aims to protect patients and prevent medical treatment under unsafe conditions that could jeopardize public health.

The Ministry of Health's action underscores its commitment to ensuring healthcare facilities maintain strict safety and hygiene standards. The clinic will remain closed until it meets all regulatory requirements and receives formal authorization to resume operations.
