Paris Lee Joins Ironi Nes Ziona in Impressive Signing
Ironi Nes Ziona officially announced the signing of American point guard Paris Lee on July 26, 2026. Lee, 31, who developed at the University of Illinois, signed a two-year contract with the Israeli Premier League team. He played last season for Kazan in Russia, averaging 11.1 points and 5.5 assists per game. Lee has extensive European experience, having played in the EuroLeague for teams including Villeurbanne, Panathinaikos, and Monaco, as well as stints with Orleans, Bamberg, and Antwerp, where he began his European career.
Notably, Lee was the EuroLeague steals leader two years ago with 1.7 steals per game while playing for Villeurbanne, and the year before that, he led the Greek league in steals with Panathinaikos. He was also named MVP of the Belgian league in 2019. Alongside Lee, Nes Ziona extended Jackson Rowe's contract and signed Israelis Vincent Amsalem and Adam Ariel. The club is still seeking an additional foreign point guard and center. Lee's salary is expected to exceed $400,000.
Upon signing, Lee expressed excitement about joining Nes Ziona and the Israeli league, aiming to create memorable moments and compete for the team's goals. He looks forward to meeting teammates, coaching staff, and fans, inviting everyone to "do it together."
