Israeli Center Beniya Sarur Signs Two-Year Deal with Ironi Nes Ziona
Ironi Nes Ziona announced the signing of Israeli national team center Beniya Sarur on a two-year contract. The 26-year-old, standing 2.08 meters tall, joins the club after playing last season for Elitzur Netanya, where he averaged 2.3 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. Sarur was called up to the Israeli national team earlier this summer and made his debut appearances during the World Cup qualifiers.
Sarur expressed enthusiasm about joining Ironi Nes Ziona, stating, "I am happy and excited to join Ironi Nes Ziona. From the first moment, I felt this was the right place for me. I am already looking forward to training, meeting the staff and players, and starting to work hard. I will do everything to contribute to the team and help achieve all our goals this season." The signing aims to strengthen Nes Ziona's roster ahead of the upcoming Israeli Basketball Premier League season.
