Itamar Shviro Signs One-Year Deal with Bnei Sakhnin
Striker Itamar Shviro, 28, has signed a one-year contract with an option for an additional year at Bnei Sakhnin, remaining in the Israeli Premier League. Shviro joins Sakhnin from Ironi Tiberias, where he scored in the opening match of the current season after netting five goals last year. His career includes stints with Hapoel Be'er Sheva, Rishon LeZion, Kiryat Shmona, Netanya, and Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Bnei Sakhnin has been active in strengthening its offense during the summer transfer window, previously acquiring Louay Halaf and Romanian striker Daniel Paraschiv. The addition of Shviro is seen as bringing a proven Israeli forward to the team. Additionally, Sakhnin has brought in Antonio Sefer on loan from Bnei Raina.
