Striker Itamar Shviro Agrees Terms with Bnei Sakhnin
Striker Itamar Shviro, 28, has reached an agreement on personal terms with Israeli Premier League club Bnei Sakhnin, according to a report by Sport 5. Shviro joins Sakhnin after leaving Ironi Tiberias. He will reunite with manager Yossi Abukasis, under whom he previously played at Hapoel Be'er Sheva.
Shviro scored for Ironi Tiberias in the opening match of the current season and netted five goals last year. His previous clubs include Hapoel Be'er Sheva, Rishon LeZion, Kiryat Shmona, Netanya, and Hapoel Tel Aviv. Bnei Sakhnin's interest in Shviro was first reported by Sport 5.
During the summer transfer window, Bnei Sakhnin bolstered their attack by signing Luan Halilovic and Romanian forward Daniel Paraschiv. The addition of Shviro is seen as further strengthening the team's offensive capabilities with a proven Israeli striker. Additionally, the club has acquired Antonio Spósito on loan from Bnei Reineh.
