Itamar Shviro Signs One-Year Deal with Bnei Sakhnin
Striker Itamar Shviro, 28, has signed a one-year contract with an option for an additional year at Bnei Sakhnin, remaining in the Israeli Premier League. Shviro joins Sakhnin after playing for Ironi Tiberias last season, where he scored in the opening match of the current league campaign and netted five goals the previous year. He previously played for Hapoel Be'er Sheva, Rishon LeZion, Kiryat Shmona, Netanya, and Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Shviro will reunite with manager Yossi Abuksis, under whom he played at Hapoel Be'er Sheva. Sakhnin's interest in Shviro was previously reported. The club has been active in the transfer market, adding forwards Louay Halaf and Romanian Daniel Parschiv during the summer as part of an offensive overhaul. Additionally, Sakhnin has acquired Antonio Sefer on loan from Bnei Raina.
