Brigadier General Elad Tzuri Assumes Command of IDF's 99th 'Lightning' Brigade

Brigadier General Elad Tzuri has taken over as commander of the Israel Defense Forces' 99th 'Lightning' Brigade, succeeding Brigadier General Yoav Broner, who led the brigade for the past two years. Broner will now serve as the commander of the Command and Staff Course. The official change of command ceremony took place at the Flag Memorial in Netiv HaAsara, led by Central Command Chief Major General Avi Blot and other senior officers.

During the ceremony, Major General Blot emphasized the brigade's critical role in ensuring the security of local residents and all Israeli citizens, highlighting the memorial as a symbol of both the sacrifices made and the heroism of soldiers and civilians. Brigadier General Tzuri expressed his commitment to the role, stating he accepts the command with a strong sense of mission and full awareness of the significant responsibility it entails.
