Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu aims to meet with US President Donald Trump on Monday, just one day before Lebanese President Michel Aoun's scheduled visit to the United States on Tuesday. This timing was revealed on Wednesday and appears significant given the close proximity of the two visits. In May, Trump had mentioned the possibility of a historic joint visit to the White House by Netanyahu and Aoun, though that meeting did not materialize. While it is unclear if a joint meeting is planned now, the timing suggests a potential connection. Concurrently, the second day of discussions between Israel and Lebanon is taking place in Rome as part of the current negotiation round.
