Hapoel Haifa Adds Nigerian Forward for Trial During Training Camp in Bulgaria
Hapoel Haifa announced on July 14 that they have brought Nigerian forward and winger Kenneth Mama, aged 28 and 1.82 meters tall, to their training camp for evaluation over the coming week. Mama has recently played in the Turkish second division for Van Spor FK and Goztepe, as well as in Spain's second division for Castellón. He began his career in Italy. At Goztepe, where he made 56 appearances, he scored 10 goals and provided 5 assists. In Spain, he scored 5 goals and assisted once in 38 matches.
Meanwhile, midfielder Cheick Keita is expected to join the camp soon, pending the approval of his visa by the Bulgarian embassy in Israel. Club owner Yoav Katz is also set to arrive at the camp tomorrow. Hapoel Haifa will play their first preseason friendly match in Bansko, Bulgaria, against Albanian side Teuta tomorrow as part of their preparations for the upcoming Israeli Premier League season.
