IDF Kills Hamas Military Leaders in Gaza to Prevent Terror Attacks
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted an airstrike in northern Gaza Strip on Tuesday, killing Muhammad Marwan Muhammad Salem, the military security chief of Hamas's Central Jabalia Brigade. Alongside him, several other militants from Hamas's military wing were also eliminated, including Abd al-Malik Abu al-Jabin, a senior investigator in Hamas police; Yaman Muhammad Gabriel Abid, a militant in the Central Jabalia Brigade; and Ghassan Akram Salama Daks, a militant and Hamas police operative in West Jabalia.
According to the IDF, these militants had recently gathered to plan and execute terror attacks, and their elimination was aimed at neutralizing this threat. The military released footage documenting the strike.
This operation follows recent targeted killings by the IDF: on Monday, Asama Naim Hamdi Shamlak, a commander in Hamas's naval unit, was killed, and on Sunday, Mustafa Oweizi, a smuggler attempting to bring military equipment into Gaza for Hamas's naval and aerial operations, was eliminated.
The IDF continues to target Hamas operatives involved in planning and facilitating attacks against Israel, emphasizing the ongoing security threat posed by the group’s military infrastructure in Gaza.
