Tehran Displays Threatening Billboard Featuring Netanyahu, Trump, and Families

A new large billboard appeared in Tehran's Palestine Square, depicting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his wife Sara, US President Donald Trump, and their family members with a threatening message in both Persian and Hebrew. The billboard shows Netanyahu and Sara seemingly lying on coffins, accompanied by the phrase "blood for blood, eye for an eye" in Hebrew. This display reflects the Iranian regime's ongoing calls for revenge following the assassination of senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps officials and former Iranian leader Ali Khamenei's threats. The image appears to have been created or edited using artificial intelligence.

Palestine Square has long been a prominent venue for Iranian propaganda against Israel, frequently featuring Hebrew-language threatening slogans such as "regret it," "shelter," and "stock up on food and supplies." Previous billboards have included maps of the Gush Dan area with warnings of missile attacks and threats targeting Israeli and American soldiers. In May, a sign declared that "Israel will not see the next 15 years." The current billboard continues this pattern amid heightened tensions and explicit Iranian vows of retaliation, including statements by Mojtaba Khamenei promising imminent revenge for the deaths of Iranian figures.
