Laser Clinic Owner Arrested in Haifa for Installing Hidden Camera in Women's Treatment Room

A laser clinic owner in Haifa was arrested on suspicion of violating privacy after police discovered a hidden camera in a women's laser treatment room. The police conducted a search at the clinic, seizing the camera and a recording system as part of their investigation. Following his interrogation, the suspect was brought before a court, which ordered his release under restrictive conditions but agreed to the police's request to delay the release pending further court proceedings.

This incident follows a similar case about a month ago in Nahariya, where a school principal found a hidden camera in the staff restroom. Upon opening the device, she identified the suspect who had planted it. The police were called, and the suspect, an external employee not part of the school's staff, was arrested.

Authorities continue to investigate these privacy violations, highlighting growing concerns over hidden surveillance in private and professional spaces.
