Israeli Forces Destroy Hezbollah Weapons Depot and Tunnels in South Lebanon
Israeli military forces have located and destroyed weapons depots belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in southern Lebanon. The caches contained machine guns, explosives, missiles, launchers, and other arms intended to target Israeli soldiers and civilians. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the destruction of the depots and all the weaponry found within them.
In addition to the weapons depots, the IDF recently demolished two large Hezbollah tunnels near the village of Majdal Zun in southern Lebanon. These tunnels measured approximately 200 meters in length and 20 meters in depth, and included living quarters, three launch shafts aimed at Israeli territory, and dozens of weapons. During ongoing searches in the area, the forces also uncovered a stockpile of mortars, launchers, and rockets.
The IDF emphasized its commitment to continue operations to neutralize threats posed by Hezbollah and prevent attacks against Israeli civilians and military personnel.
