U.S. President Donald Trump said now, Wednesday, in a statement at the White House that in light of the helicopter being shot down in the Strait of Hormuz, “we are going to attack them very hard.” Trump added that Iran must sign a deal. He said, “We hit them hard yesterday, and we will hit them again today.”
Earlier today, Trump posted his most forceful and combative statement against Iran in months. Trump opened the statement by declaring: “The Iranian military has been completely destroyed and is in total chaos, most of it, like the navy and air force, no longer exists, they have been defeated completely and utterly, Iran is all talk and has no teeth, the bully of the Middle East is dead!”
The president added emphatically and with surprising bellicosity: “It took them too long to reach a deal that could have been great for them, now they will have to pay the price!”
