Arkia Resumes Direct Flights from Israel to Morocco After Three-Year Hiatus
Arkia Airlines announced on Wednesday that it will resume direct flights from Israel to Morocco after a three-year suspension caused by the war. Starting August 24, flights to Marrakech will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays using Airbus A320 aircraft. The airline noted that the route's revival followed extensive coordination with aviation and security authorities. Ticket prices will start at $329 one way. Arkia also emphasized that Israeli passport holders must obtain a visa in advance to enter Morocco, advising travelers to prepare accordingly. Morocco, known for destinations like the blue city of Chefchaouen and Marrakech's famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, is returning to the Israeli travel map.
