Ariel Shartzki Extends Contract with Hapoel Kiryat Shmona for Another Season
Ariel Shartzki has signed a contract extension to remain with Hapoel Kiryat Shmona for the upcoming season. The midfielder, who has spent his entire senior career at the club, initially considered moving abroad but ultimately chose to continue helping the team maintain its place in the Israeli Premier League. Shartzki will mark at least seven years with Kiryat Shmona, having scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists in 108 appearances.
In addition to Shartzki's extension, the club is evaluating a new trialist, Asafa Ogujo, who may join the team if he impresses. Ogujo is a winger who spent the last year and a half with Hapoel Ra'anana, scoring eight goals and assisting three times in 63 matches. He has also played for Hapoel Kfar Saba, Hapoel Hadera, and Hapoel Robi Shapira.
The club aims to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season to secure its position in the top division.
