Adrian Ugarriza Commits Fully to Hapoel Kiryat Shmona Amid Transfer Interest

Hapoel Kiryat Shmona took a significant step toward the Toto Cup semifinals on Tuesday by securing a 1-0 victory over Bnei Sakhnin, maintaining their perfect record in the competition. The team will face Hapoel Haifa at Sammy Ofer Stadium this Saturday in a crucial match for the group lead, where a draw or win will guarantee advancement to the final four.

Peruvian striker Adrian Ugarriza, who started for the first time this season, was the standout player. He earned and converted a penalty for the winning goal and received enthusiastic applause from fans when substituted in the second half, with supporters chanting for him to stay. Additionally, Brazilian midfielder Tales Costa made his debut as a replacement for Christian Martinez. Kiryat Shmona hopes to reach the Toto Cup semifinals for the first time since the 2019/20 season, with Shai Ben David expected to return to the starting lineup after resting in the recent match.
