Ariel Shartzki Extends Contract with Ironi Kiryat Shmona for Another Season
Ariel Shartzki, the midfielder and long-time player for Ironi Kiryat Shmona, has extended his contract with the club for an additional season. Despite initially considering a move abroad after his previous contract expired, Shartzki chose to remain with the team where he has spent his entire senior career. Over at least seven seasons with Kiryat Shmona, he has made 108 appearances, scoring 12 goals and providing 10 assists. Shartzki aims to help the club maintain its status in the Israeli Premier League for the upcoming season.
In parallel, the club is evaluating a new trial player, winger Asaf Awajo, who may sign if he impresses the coaching staff. Awajo has played the past year and a half with Hapoel Ra'anana, scoring eight goals and assisting three times in 63 appearances. His career also includes stints at Hapoel Kfar Saba, Hapoel Hadera, and Hapoel Robi Shapira. The club continues to prepare its squad for the next Israeli Premier League season.
